• The vacancies are tentative.

Qualification

Candidates must fulfil the following educational and technical requirements:

• Must have passed 10+2 from a recognized Board or Institution.
• Must have a Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognized Institution/ITI with 3 years of practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop.

OR

• Must have a 3-year Diploma in Automobile Engineering.

Selection Process

The ITBP Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) selection process includes the following stages:

1. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• 1.6 Km Race – within 7 minutes 30 seconds
• Long Jump – 11 feet, 3 chances
• High Jump – 3½ feet, 3 chances
• PET is qualifying in nature.

2. Physical Standard Test (PST)

Candidates who qualify PET will undergo physical measurements such as:

• Height
• Chest
• Weight

3. Document Verification

Original documents will be verified, including:

• Educational certificates
• Experience certificate
• 10th certificate
• Category certificate, if applicable
• Other required documents

4. Written Examination

The written examination will carry 100 marks.

5. Practical / Skill Test

Candidates will also have to qualify the required Practical (Skill) Test related to the Motor Mechanic trade.

6. Medical Examination

Candidates who qualify the required recruitment stages will undergo the prescribed medical examination.
