Educational Qualification
1. Stenographer Grade-II

12th Class or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
2. Tax Assistant

Age Relaxation for Sportspersons
For eligible meritorious sportspersons, the upper age limit may be relaxed by:
- Up to 5 years generally
- Up to 10 years for SC/ST candidates

Sports Qualification

Senior National Championship medal winners receive preference over Junior-level participants where applicable.
Third Preference
Candidates who have represented a University in an Inter-University competition conducted by the Association of Indian Universities/Inter University Sports Board or in Khelo India University Games, and have won a medal or secured a position up to 3rd place in the final.
Fourth Preference
Candidates who have represented a State/UT in:
- Khelo India Youth Games β above 18 years
- Khelo India Winter Games
- Khelo India Para Games
and have won a medal or secured a position up to 3rd place.
Fifth Preference
Candidates who have represented their State School team in National Sports/Games for Schools conducted by the All-India School Games Federation and have won a medal or secured a position up to 3rd place.
Sixth Preference
Candidates who represented a State/UT, University or State Schools team at the levels mentioned above but did not win a medal or position.
Tie-Breaking
In case of a tie, preference may be given to candidates who:
- Secured a higher position; or
- Won more than one medal.
Individual and team events may receive the same preference.
Valid Sports Certificates
Candidates must submit sports certificates issued by the competent authorities prescribed by the Income Tax Department.
