Educational Qualification

Local Language Proficiency Test

Candidates applying for a particular State/UT must be proficient in the specified local language.

For example, candidates applying for West Bengal must know Bengali or Nepali. The examination medium for West Bengal includes English, Hindi and Bengali.

Candidates who have studied the specified local language in Class 10th or 12th and can produce the relevant mark sheet/certificate will not be required to appear for the local language test.

Candidates who have not studied the specified language will have to qualify in the Local Language Proficiency Test after provisional selection and before joining.

Failure to qualify the language test will result in non-appointment/disqualification.

The pay scale for Junior Associates is:

The starting Basic Pay is ₹26,730, which includes two advance increments admissible to graduates.
